Free Oral Cancer Screening at DeFatta ENT

April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month. Smoking, alcohol, and tobacco use are still major risk factors for developing oral cancer, but the fastest growing segment of oral cancer patients seem to be young, healthy, nonsmoking individuals.

Dr. Robert DeFatta of DeFatta ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery explains why we are seeing younger otherwise healthy individuals being diagnosed with oral cancer, who should be screened for oral cancer, and what the screening entails.
